The starfish also known as the starfish is a purely marine animal, a member of the class Asteroidea. Most marine scientists prefer to use the name Sea Star to refer to this incredible sea creature. This is because the starfish is not a fish but an echinoderm - a type of marine animal characterized by radial symmetry and found in all of the world's oceans. In Christian symbolism, the starfish represents the Virgin Mary. Notre-Dame, Star of the Sea is an ancient name for the mother of Jesus Christ. Starfish is a translation of the Latin title Stella Maris, which was used to emphasize the importance of Mary as a sign of hope and guidance for Christians. Sea Star represents beauty and poise, power and the ability to overcome even the most difficult problems. This sea animal has a harmonious geometric shape, it is able to endure even the harshest injuries and continue to live - most species can even regenerate into a whole new organism. The starfish is also a celestial symbol, representing infinite divine love that shines in all directions, providing safe travel on troubled waters and guidance in times of danger. Sea Star is a very special type of animal notes in perfumery. Perfumes with this note do not contain any type of organic ingredient obtained from starfish. This beautiful creature serves only as inspiration for ocean and sea scent blends. The starfish note is synonymous with salt and sweetness, the freshness of the ocean breeze and aquatic notes. But why is a starfish, among so many other sea creatures, chosen for one of the perfume notes? The sea is the very essence of this creature. He has no heart, no brain, no well-defined sensory inputs like other animals, and he has no blood. Sea Star is so closely related to the ocean that it even uses seawater instead of blood to pump nutrients throughout the body. Their whole body is actually filled with seawater, and the intricate web of intertwined nerves is inside and below their skin. Starfish are sensitive to touch, light, temperature, orientation, and the water around them, but only if surrounded by precious salt water. The starfish is alive only if it smells and breathes the ocean; there are no freshwater starfish, and only a few species (out of 1, 800 known species) can tolerate brackish water. This sea animal truly represents everything a perfumer wants to accomplish when trying to capture the scent of the sea, the closeness of the ocean, and the aroma of nourishing sea minerals. The starfish note is there to evoke a fine smell of salt that dries on the skin after a dip in the ocean, travel memories, the smell of seaweed, the soothing and incessant roar of the sea . ..
